Ecosse welcomes Paul Thompson to its Credit Committee

Ecosse Capital Partner's Private Credit Agricultural Fund has an anticipated fund size of $120m. The first close will be at the end of March 2024.

Anthony Guy Ecosse Managing Director has great pleasure announcing “Paul Thompson the former Managing Director of Select Harvests has joined Ecosse’s Credit Advisory Committee.

Paul is set to bring valuable expertise to the team. He is recognised for his leadership in the agribusiness sector.  Paul's appointment to the Ecosse Advisory Credit Committee is seen as a strategic move to enhance the team's capabilities. His understanding of corporate governance, capital markets, and international trading will be an asset to Ecosse's Agricultural Fund.

Ecosse Managing Director, Anthony Guy, expresses confidence in Paul's contribution, citing his deep knowledge and passion for agriculture as an invaluable asset. Paul's appointment is expected to strengthen the Ecosse Credit Advisory Committee’s ability to make informed decisions that benefit farmers and agribusinesses within the community. Importantly, aligning loans with disciplined criteria and leveraging sector expertise for optimal decision-making.

The fund is being overseen by the independent trustee, BMYG Capital Pty Ltd, and a first close scheduled for March 2024, Ecosse's Private Credit Agricultural Fund is poised for success under the guidance of Paul Thompson and the rest of the Credit Committee.
